The FoxTown Factory Outlet is the biggest venue: brand activations, fashion shows, VIP shopping events and product launches follow one another all year. The Accademia di architettura (USI) brings openings, conferences and book launches. Add wine fairs in the Mendrisiotto region, meetings at regional hotels and the proximity to Milan-based organisers who use Mendrisio as a southern Swiss base.
Mendrisio concentrates fashion retail, higher education and wine growing into a compact area. FoxTown produces a steady stream of visitors and recurring brand launches, the Accademia di architettura hosts lectures and openings of international standing, and the Mendrisiotto wine region hosts tastings and autumn festivals around Ticino Merlot. As a hostess or host you look after guests at reception, at brand activations in the outlet, at university events or in regional hotels — mostly in Italian. You set your own availability and pay is fair.

Italian is essential — at FoxTown, at USI and across regional events, work runs in Italian. English helps for international brand appearances, German comes in with D-A-CH shopping campaigns.
A minimum age of 18, well-groomed appearance, reliability and genuine enjoyment of international audiences. Experience is welcome but not required — you get a clear Italian briefing before every assignment.
Yes. Milan is around 45 minutes away by train, and many brand activations at FoxTown are produced by Milan-based agencies. We tell you in advance when travel time or Milan logistics are part of the booking.
Fill in our form, upload one or two recent photos and state your languages. If your profile fits, we add you to the Italian-speaking Ticino roster and get in touch for the next suitable Mendrisio assignment.
