Piazza Grande is the hotspot of the year: in August it turns into Europe's largest open-air cinema and draws teams from all over the world. The PalaCinema hosts festival panels and year-round congresses. Luxury hotels such as Hotel Belvedere Locarno, La Palma au Lac in Muralto and Hotel Eden Roc in Ascona book hostesses for receptions and product launches. Ticino companies and cultural promoters rely on us for galas and festival side events.

Locarno has two faces: a Mediterranean lakeside town with luxury hotels and an international festival centre in August. In between, congresses run at the PalaCinema, product launches, corporate events and gala evenings take place around Lago Maggiore. As a hostess or host you handle reception, accreditation, cloakroom or guest care — around the festival also backstage and red-carpet duties. Because you choose your own dates, the work fits around studies or a job. Fair pay and Italian briefings are our standard.

Italian is a basic requirement — organisers, hotels and production teams brief and work in Italian. Around the Film Festival, English is a clear plus; French or German help with festival delegations.
No. The festival is the peak, but hotels, congresses and corporate events bring work all year. Ascona and Muralto have a year-round luxury hotel scene that books hostesses regularly.
You receive a fair hourly rate depending on the type and length of the assignment. Festival work and representative hotel duties are paid accordingly. We state the terms transparently before every booking and settle on time.
Fill in our form, upload one or two recent photos and state your languages. If your profile fits, we add you to the Italian-speaking Ticino roster and get in touch well in advance of the Film Festival or for suitable hotel occasions.
