The Solothurn Film Days fill the Landhaus, Konzertsaal and Capitol cinema in January; Breitling events run at the Grenchen headquarters and the Breitling Hangar at the airfield; the Stadthaus Olten and the Trafo-Areal congress centre serve expert conferences; the Goetheanum in Dornach opens for anthroposophical and business events; add hotel events at the Grand Hotel Solothurn and industrial anniversaries in Oensingen.
Solothurn produces a surprisingly self-contained event calendar: the Solothurn Film Days in January are the most important industry festival for the Swiss film sector; Grenchen is a watch-production centre with regular industrial events (Breitling, Eterna, Titoni); Olten is a congress city at Switzerland's centre; Dornach brings the Goetheanum as a cultural venue. Minimum age 18, well-groomed appearance, pleasure in dealing with specialist and cultural audiences. German is required, English matters at international watch events and Film Days; French near the Biel border is an advantage.
