We book in Luzern, Emmen, Kriens, Horw, Sursee and Hochdorf. Large events run at the KKL, Messe Luzern and the Verkehrshaus; hotel galas concentrate on the lakeshore and the Bürgenstock Resort.
Minimum age 18, well-groomed appearance and real pleasure in dealing with international guests. English is required because of tourism, good German a baseline; Chinese, Mandarin or Arabic are particularly in demand in the luxury segment.
Summer is peak tourism and open-air season; autumn brings the Lucerne Festival and congress business; winter is dominated by corporate galas and Christmas markets. In between, fairs and Verkehrshaus events run year-round.
