The WEF Davos is held at the Davos Congress Centre and in hotels (Belvédère, Steigenberger Grandhotel Belvédère); White Turf St. Moritz runs on the frozen Lake St. Moritz in February; the Snow Polo World Cup takes place on the lake too; Badrutt's Palace and Kulm Hotel produce luxury galas; Chur corporate events happen at the Theater Chur and Stadthalle; Poschiavo opens for Italian-speaking industrial events; Lenzerheide hotels host family weddings.
Grisons produces one of Switzerland's most prestigious event calendars: the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos in January gathers the global political and business elite; White Turf and the Snow Polo World Cup in St. Moritz draw a luxury audience in February; the Hohe Haus in Chur and the Davos Congress Centre serve expert congresses; luxury hotels in St. Moritz, Davos and Arosa produce galas and weddings. We book in Chur, Davos, St. Moritz, Lenzerheide, Arosa, Flims-Laax and Poschiavo. Large events concentrate on WEF Davos and St. Moritz (White Turf, Snow Polo); luxury hotel galas spread across the high valley; corporate events run in Chur.
German is required, English is very important because of the WEF and international luxury audiences. Italian opens Poschiavo and the Bregaglia; Romansh is a real plus for image events of regional brands, not a must.
January brings the WEF Davos; February brings White Turf and Snow Polo in St. Moritz; summer the open-air festivals (Open Air Lumnezia, Festival da Jazz St. Moritz); autumn expert congresses; winter the hotel Christmas events in St. Moritz, Davos and Arosa.
